Every time John Mulaney hosts SNL, the episode includes a silly skit about some sort of NYC neighborhood grubbiness that somehow turns into a Broadway Musical. I wholeheartedly approve and my Friday time waster recommendation this week is that you watch the latest episode of this nonsense, called "Port Authority Duane Reade."
Which reminds me of the last time I took Amtrak into Washington DC, where I was wondering if people did actually buy groceries or much of ... anything ... from the Walgreens in the basement of Union Station. I didn't think to stop and pick up a gallon of milk on my way out of town. There's always next time, I guess.
