French mailbox provider SFR adds BIMI support

It's always great to see another mailbox provider supporting BIMI sender logos!

This time around, it is French telecommunications provider SFR (Société Française du Radiotéléphone). Their webmail will now display BIMI logos. The usual requirements apply; proper authentication, DMARC at enforcement, and senders must have a VMC (Verified Mark Certificate) in place. When this support was added, I am not 100% sure. Likely either at some point in 2024, or possibly as far back as some point in 2023, according to this forum post.

Their main email domain appears to be sfr.fr. They host mail for 11 domains in the top ten million domains. Other top domains include numericable.fr, club-internet.fr, neuf.fr, and cegetel.net.

Jean-Raphaël Houdin from Merox was kind enough to let me know of this development, and also shared with me his personal experience that "for SFR antispam rules, the BIMI VMC is a key point for deliverability."

Special thanks to Jennifer Nespola Lantz for providing the SFR inbox screen capture above.
