You should hire: Jennifer Nespola Lantz

My friend, expert deliverability consultant, Jennifer Nespola Lantz, recently posted to Linkedin that the broad layoffs happening in tech right now have reached her. In her post, she writes:

Hello everyone! I'm looking for work. Full-time, contract, consulting, and so on! I've spent the last 21 years in email. I know there are skills in there that could translate elsewhere, but boy do I love email.

I love consulting on email, deliverability, delivery, DNS, audits, IP/domain warmings, transitioning ESPs, best practices, etc. I love speaking about it to others. I love working directly with clients. I love seeing how, when we collaborate, things change in a positive way. I love hearing them say, "IT WORKS!"

I've always wanted to do something to help others. Email isn't generally life-saving nor does it give homes to puppies that need them, but it helps move the needle for mom-and-pop shops, new businesses, large businesses, and individuals using email as their way to connect, receive news and entertainment and articles or stories that make them laugh.

So, if you need help or would like to work with me or are interested in filling a role in your business, reach out! If you have advice, anecdotes, connections, whatever, reach out.

Jen spent just over the past five years managing a book of deliverability consulting business for Kickbox. You might recall that I worked at Kickbox for two years myself. During that period where we overlapped, I got to know Jen well. She's extremely good at what she does. She is somebody that I turn to myself when I need a gut check or a second opinion on a complex deliverability-related troubleshooting scenario.

She would be great as an individual contributor to a deliverability strategy or consultant team. She would be great at running such a team. She knows how email works and how to fix the problems that are impeding your ability to get mail delivered to the inbox reliably. She's an excellent communicator and works well with clients.

She is all-in on industry collaboration, too. Well known in our industry for helping to bring people together in her role as co-chair of the program committee for the M3AAWG email/messaging anti-abuse working group, and she brought insight from multiple experts together monthly in her “Email Deliverability Unfiltered” series for the Kickbox blog.

She's got the knowledge, the experience, and the contacts. Somebody is sure to snap her up soon, but I'm still going to share this to help increase the potential reach and I'm hoping that you'll help connect Jen to the perfect email deliverability opportunity.

Find the Linkedin post here, and find her Linkedin CV/profile here. And hire her immediately! Want an introduction? Feel free to drop me a line.
