If you've got email subscribers on your list from Colorado and New Mexico, take note: the mydurango.net email domain is officially dead.
Ting Internet, owned by Tucows, acquired regional communication provider Cedar Networks (Zippytech) back in November 2019, and since has sunset the legacy email hosting service associated with the brand.
As Ting outlines in this support article, all @mydurango.net email addresses ceased to function completely on March 12, 2026. Users lost account access after March 11, 2026, and Ting confirmed that the service was permanently discontinued with no ability to restore accounts or recover emails.
Since this email domain is now completely retired, email senders should make sure to remove and suppress any remaining @mydurango.net addresses from their subscriber lists. Because you never know when an old regional mailbox provider domain will get converted into a spamtrap feed.
September 30, 2026 update: An email service provider (marketing send platform) representative reached out to me and let me know that they're still seeing mail accepted, and opens, and clicks. Not sure what to make of that! Be sure to check for yourself before taking any specific action.
