Microsoft SNDS: Minor changes

Microsoft's SNDS (aka their Smart Network Data Services email reputation data portal) has recently undergone some minor updates that might impact your use of the platform, depending on how you utilize it.

The CSS and design seem to have been updated just a tiny bit, making it look a bit more modern. While this mild refresh is welcome, the data displayed seems to be the same as you'd expect to see -- nothing seems too different there, as far as I can tell.

Some users might not notice any sort of change at all, beyond those slightly updates to the design and layout. However, if you're using the SNDS API to retrieve data in an automated fashion, or if you bookmark URLs, or like to "hack" URLs to jump to data for specific IP addresses (like you can do with the Wombatmail Jumper tool), you should note that the various URLs for the SNDS website pages (and API) seem to have changed, dropping their ".aspx" suffix. Meaning that a "view data" URL for a particular IP address was previously "https://sendersupport.olc.protection.outlook.com/snds/dataIP.aspx?ip=(code)" and now it is "https://sendersupport.olc.protection.outlook.com/snds/dataip?ip=(code)."

The encoded IP address (the IP address converted to an integer) in a URL has changed as well, in that it looks to me as though they're now converting the IP address to a signed integer, instead of it previously being unsigned. That doesn't really mean a lot for most of us, unless you're trying to proactively generate a link to a particular data information page for a given IP address, and the old bookmark isn't working. I've updated my Jumper tool to account for the slight changes in URL format, and no worries if that's nothing you utilize yourself -- you can just navigate your way through the SNDS website and re-bookmark any specific pages as needed, and you should be fine.

These recent changes show us that somebody is actively working on updating the SNDS website. I wonder if there will be more changes to come in the future.
