So, if a bank accidentally sends you somebody else's information....they can now sue your webmail provider to have your account disabled? Uh, WTF?
As Venkat Balasubramani says, thankfully "Google did the right thing in refusing to shut down the account or turn over its contents without a court order."
But: "Did the court just issue an order without notice to the account-holder that the gmail account be 'deactivated'?" Ayup.
WHAT?!
Geez. Maybe Rocky Mountain Bank should tell us all of their sending IP addresses and domains, so we can filter out any mail they might send us "accidentally" and avoid getting ensnared into somebody else's legal problems.
