Andy Peters of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution explains: "Atlanta has earned a dubious title in the cybercrime world — it’s the No. 1 location in the U.S. for criminals who target business owners, according to a new study."
The smart folks at email threat protection company Agari conducted a study of "B.E.C." phishing fraud, and traced the geolocation for the sources of all the bad activity identified in the study. Atlanta apparently ranks number one, with 7% of this bad activity originating there.
