MBP Spotlight: yandex.net

Who hosts what mail? MBP Spotlight
is a new series here at Spam Resource where I’ll break down the top mailbox providers (including B2B) based on their rankings in the top ten million domains. Some entries might have more info, some entries might have less, depending on what information I know about them and what information I can find online.

To count rankings, I took a snapshot of MX records for the top ten million domains, and then rolled them up based on the domain name hosting mail for each domain. That shows me how many domains have their inbound email hosted by hosted by “*.google.com,” “*.outlook.com,” etc.

Number 10 in the rankings: yandex.net

Who is this? Yandex

What are they? Yandex is a Russian multinational technology company providing Internet-related products and services.

How much mail do they host? Yandex hosts mail for more than 46,163 email domains.

Yandex had previously participated in Validity’s Universal FBL mechanism, but is no longer listed on the Universal FBL website as of April, 2024.

I don’t have much deliverability or unblocking information available for yandex.net at this time. Those who have had success remediating Yandex blocking in the past, feel free to contact me so that I can add more information to this page. Validity has a Yandex Deliverability Best Practices page, but it is undated, information seems a bit general, and possibly out of date (including a dead FBL signup link).

Ranking based on March 2024 data snapshot. Corrections, questions or updates? Contact me.
