HubSpot: 23 of My Favorite Free Marketing Newsletters
URL Copied
Kind thanks to HubSpot's Laura M. Browning for including me in her "23 of My Favorite Free Marketing Newsletters" list! I feel like I'm in good company, with good email newsletters that I already subscribe to (Inbox Collective and Send it Right, for example), and others that I now need to investigate myself and quite possibly sign up for.
I have long been a fan of HubSpot blogs, in particular their Marketing Blog -- it is definitely one of the platforms I look toward for inspiration -- they try very hard to move their blogs beyond simple PR/SEO-focused funnel-feeding content, instead compiling and sharing so many bits of guidance as to be a true resource for HubSpot customers (and others). It has definitely influenced how I try to structure Spam Resource. And I'm further tickled pink to be recognized by HubSpot for sending emails given so much of my career relates to helping other people send emails. (Maybe it's recognition that I might know what I'm doing?) Thank you, thank you, thank you!
And I'll close by pointing out ... yeah, I know, I'm still pretty negative sometimes. But it is very rarely my goal. It's something I'm aware of, and try to avoid as much as possible. I want my guidance to be about the things you can and should do to succeed with your email efforts; I don't just want to wag my finger at people all day long.
