Tuesday Tip: Learn more about Apple Business Connect from Badsender
Recently I published an overview and my first thoughts regarding Apple Business Connect, Apple's business branding and contact program that was recently updated to include support for sender logos in email. While it's not the same as BIMI (and I do think you'll want to continue to consider BIMI), I think that it still potentially adds value for some email senders.
In today's Tuesday Tip, I offer up the opportunity to learn more about Apple Business Connect. That's where Jonathan Loriaux writing for the Badsender blog, comes into the picture. In his latest article, he takes us through the setup and implementation of Apple Business Connect, specifically, how to utilize it to publish a BIMI-like logo.
The business verification bits are specific to France, but I do believe the process is similar in other locales. Jonathan mentions company verification by providing SIRET, SIREN, TVA or RCS information to Apple. I've heard mention that Apple may be requiring a DUNS number for US-based companies.
I hope to learn more in the future, as my wife and I plan to configure Apple Business Connect for her bookstore.
